NANA Offers 2009 Scholarships

In accordance with our mission of promoting health and providing therapeutic services for individuals and families in our community, Newfound Area Nursing Association (NANA) provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in health care. 

Applicants shall be residents of NANA’s surrounding communities. Special consideration may be granted for non-residents who are past recipients of the scholarship monies or current NANA employees. Individuals must have been accepted into an accredited program which will lead to formal certification qualifying the individual for entry into a healthcare field consistent with the health-related efforts and employment of NANA.

Applications are available at www.nanainc.org (click here) or can be picked up at the NANA office, 214 Lake Street, Bristol, NH 03222; Newfound Area High School Guidance Department; NHCTC, Laconia, and NHTI, Concord. Complete applications must be submitted no later than Friday, April 24, 2009. For more information call 744-2733.

NANA has served the Newfound Area for over 48 years and during that time has assisted many individuals in their pursuits of careers in health care.
